journey in the discovery of God's great love for them and His purpose for their lives. The power of prayer, worship, laughter, community with other women, and a deeper understanding of biblical truth - all are bedrock elements to a thriving, flourishing walk of faith. Because life is hard sometimes! And even when all is smooth, what our hearts need more than anything is to know that we are loved by an amazing heavenly Father, who is committed to caring for us, walking with us, lighting our path.
As women, we take our places in the world as co-workers, wives, mothers, sisters, daughters, friends. We can feel the pressure to be and to do - too many things! And the ups and downs of life - can weary us!
But God says to us, "Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you'll recover your life. I'll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me - watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won't lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you'll learn to live freely and lightly." (Matthew 11, The Message)
Ahhh… Learning to live freely and lightly. Knowing we are greatly loved. Knowing we have been created by God for a unique purpose in the world. Knowing He will guide us in the path He has designed for us to walk. It's all about the journey. And knowing to Whom we belong.

* Suzi and Mandie both live in Norwalk, Ohio. They love being a part of their growing, thriving church, The Chapel in Sandusky. And every day they are grateful for the love, inspiration and support of their dear husband/sweet dad, Tom. Suzi and Tom truly know that it's possible to find joy even in a difficult journey of serious illness. After suffering a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2004, Tom is a testament to the power of prayer and the faithfulness of a great God. And Mandie, her husband Justin and daughter Elissia truly know that love is the greatest gift, and they are blessed.
